About James Sutton

As senior manager, I oversee Gordon’s Castle, LLC’s core mission to serve the multifamily and commercial construction markets in Northeast Florida. One management focus is making sure that we have talented staff, who are enthusiastic about their professions and projects. In addition, Senior Management’s role is to make sure that our staff has the tools including advanced scheduling applications, proprietary estimating applications and training to accomplish a superior job. Risk Management means more than safety at GCLLC. That said we enjoy a perfect safety record because common to every facet of our construction process, we focus on continuity from prime contract to subcontracts to field protocols to execution and discipline in the field. Past projects in our award winning eight year history have spanned from to over $12 million. As senior manager and as a founder of Gordon’s Castle, LLC, I gain a sense of enjoyment in the critical acclaim awarded to our projects, a Urban Land Institute Award For Adaptive Re-use, 2 Aurora awards –one for single family over and another regional award for Multifamily, an Historic Preservation Award by the City Of Jacksonville, a Laurel Award and a Riverside-Avondale Preservation Award -all speaking to the talent, enthusiasm and attention to detail of GCLLC staff in the office and in field. In 2014 we have added strong project management capabilities in medical office and facility construction with the long term objective of competing for medical projects including standalone structures and/or interior improvements. Gordon’s Castle will continue to serve the multifamily adaptive re-use and apartment community renovation and commercial projects on a regional basis.
