About James Tilley

Highly motivated and passionate about achieving results by working collaboratively and thinking strategically, previously a senior operations manager working for one of the UK’s largest sporting organisations. After re-locating to Jersey I am now the Head of Sport, Schools & Business at Jersey Sport. I pride myself on my ability to build strong working relationships and have experience working with government funding agencies and managing teams. I have a track record of delivering projects on time and on budget. My achievements include implementing a new sports governance framework, workforce development programme, managing grants, budget management processes, IT systems, international logistics, strategy development and securing investment. With a mathematics degree and over 12 years' experience working in sport I am looking forward to continuing to support sports, physical activity for Jersey children including in schools and developing the business services of Jersey Sport. Relocated to Jersey, Channel Islands with ‘entitled for work’ status.
