During my time working in Risk Management and Compliance, I have learned how to manage multiple atypical projects at once and adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities. My ability to leverage technology to assist my project management skills allows me to deliver results on time with a high attention to detail. I excel at identifying and mitigating potential risks due to my ability to see processes in unconventional ways. My passion for my work and interest in my department’s success allows me to adapt and fill gaps to achieve positive results. Notable Results- Successfully registered GID with the SEC, which included creating or managing a plethora of procedures and systems that were required to be an RIA- Produced a quarterly Newsletter for GID that contains ERM news, tutorials, and reminders- Reviewed and standardized 400 policies by automating key portions of the process, educating stakeholders on policy writing, and creating a streamlined reporting process to senior management- Identified potential problem areas through a customized, non-standard audit program which would have been missed by a standard financial audit- Took over the data privacy reporting process and created a new system which caught multiple historical errors before they could cause material harm to company- Designed and managed a COVID-19 communications website that helped over 100 real estate properties across the country comply with the individual state and local business reopening guidelines- Identified inefficient process to senior manager before the COVID shutdown, which, if not addressed, would have serious financial harm to the company.
