Background

About James Tustin

With over 25 years of teaching experience, I am a collaborative leader, coach, and mentor dedicated to enhancing performance and efficiency and driving business success. As a teacher at Frisco ISD, I teach biology and overcome unique scheduling challenges by facilitating online training materials and opportunities for virtual collaboration and resource sharing. I am passionate about improving the functionality of systems and services, revitalizing underperforming areas, capturing new opportunities for efficiency, and driving individuals, departments, and organizations forward. As a Fulbright Scholar to Japan and Malta, I have gained valuable insights into different cultures and educational systems, and have applied them to my own teaching and research. I have also received multiple honors and certifications for my academic excellence and professional development. I am a strategic communicator who adeptly interfaces with a diverse population of customers, colleagues, and leaders, and a solution-focused, independent problem solver who can prioritize, multi-task, and navigate past roadblocks.
