About James Tyler Erwin

With over 15 years of experience in education, my career has progressed from a K-12 classroom teacher to my current role as Director of Professional Learning at Forward Edge. This journey gives me a unique perspective on the entire learning ecosystem, from pedagogy to strategic partnerships. In my current role, I drive the vision for our learning initiatives and lead a dynamic team of L&D professionals and instructional coaches. I focus on empowering them to deliver impactful solutions for partners, which includes overseeing the development of innovative learning programs. For example, our team collaborates directly with Google for Education, supporting the launch of products like Chromebook Plus and AI tools like Gemini and NotebookLM at high-profile events across the globe. My leadership responsibilities also include serving as a sales enabler for our business development team, managing departmental budgets, and fostering a culture of continuous growth. My commitment remains steadfast: to create transformative learning experiences that empower educators and advance education. I'm always open to connecting with fellow L&D leaders, educators, and potential partners.
