I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) with specialized training and extensive experience in both civil and criminal forensic psychology. My background includes conducting a wide range of forensic psychological evaluations, complex differential diagnoses, psychometric assessments, and evaluations for malingering and deception detection. I am also skilled in interviewing uncooperative or hostile individuals, and regularly provide court-ordered and ex parte evaluations, along with expert witness testimony.Throughout my career, I’ve focused heavily on behavior modification, particularly in working with highly resistant, aggressive, or combative individuals. These challenging situations demand the ability to rapidly build trust and rapport to reach effective, timely resolutions. I am trained and highly skilled in safe and effective verbal and physical intervention techniques and also provide training in these areas.With over 20 years of experience in psychology and human services, I’ve worked with diverse populations across various settings, including correctional and detention facilities, court-ordered treatment programs, community reintegration services, state hospitals, outpatient clinics, and developmental disability programs. I have broad clinical expertise encompassing nearly every major mental illness and neurocognitive disorder recognized in the DSM and ICD systems.I am available for public speaking, training, and educational engagements on a wide range of topics.
