About James W. Carpenter

After years spent in the business of healthcare services delivery, insurance and workers compensation, one thing became extraordinarily clear to me: doctors need more and better options to manage patient pain. Limited options for pain control cost healthcare providers, payors and patients billions every year and has contributed to an unprecedented national epidemic of opioid addiction. I founded Solace Advancement to deliver FDA-approved pain management devices and procedural aids that help doctors build practices around non-opioid based pain control methods. Solace is the exclusive distributor for the Stivax system in North America. Our company also manufactures and distributes a number of instruments used in the delivery of neurostimulation-based pain management treatments. Solace makes sure medical practices have access to the training and tools they need to build a successful pain management practice. Our national distribution network provides digital and hands-on instruction for device application and administrative processes. Prior to founding Solace, I co-founded a medical practice around a medically-assisted detoxification procedure called ClarityTM for people with opioid addictions. The experience formed my understanding of the deep medical, psychological and systemic complexities of treating pain and its relationship with addiction issues.
