About James Wadey

I’m lucky enough to wear two hats in my role: Talent Development Partner and Wellbeing & Safeguarding Lead for the UK. What really drives me is seeing people feel supported, valued and able to do their best – not just in their work, but in their overall wellbeing. My career has taken me through Contract Logistics, Road and Seafreight, but my passion has always been the same: creating environments where people can grow, feel safe to be themselves, and know they’ll be listened to. I believe wellbeing isn’t about ticking boxes, it’s about genuinely caring for mental, physical, social and financial health. When people feel they can bring their whole selves to work, the results are powerful: stronger engagement, more resilience, and new ideas sparking to life. For me, it all comes down to psychological safety and honest conversations. When truth and courage are encouraged, people flourish and so do organisations.
