About James Warren

I am a human experience insights innovator (focused on EX and CX), a strategist, a community connector, and a writer. I empower people and brands to share their stories with the world. And I believe the stories we crave, the stories we learn the most from, and the stories we long to share come from a place of authenticity, courage and curiosity. For nearly 30 years, I’ve nurtured a passion for storytelling and entrepreneurship. Early on, I demonstrated a strong desire to tell stories, and during my time in Columbia University’s Creative Writing Program, I finally began writing in earnest. In 2005, I started exploring the space between publishing and technology with the Digital Book Project, an experiment in online novel writing. During the same time, I also led various CPG brand management and business development efforts at Altria Group, including a number of new brand and new product introductions. At Altria, I gained a wealth of experience in building brand and marketing platforms, leading sales and business development, and honing my communication and engagement skills. Through those experiences, I realized that I absolutely love the challenge of building businesses, brands and organizations. After a successful corporate marketing career, I took the plunge and started Share More Stories in the summer of 2014, finally uniting my passion for stories and my love of entrepreneurship. Share More Stories is a human experience research company, and through its AI-powered SEEQ Platform, focuses on helping companies understand employee experience and customer experience so they can improve them. I’m always looking for a good story to share.
