About James Weldin

Providing support to FEMA in the Chemical Stockpile Program. The last remaining location is at Blue Grass Army Depot in Richmond Kentucky. This federal program is primarily in the closeout phase. My team supports FEMA CSEPP Branch, FEMA Region 4, Kentucky Office of Emergency Management and the local counties in the process of closing out federal grants and accounting of equipment. My second primary project is to support the Office of Emergency Management and Security Response to the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT OEMSR). We are supporting NJDOT OEMSR in various aspects of emergency management. COOP, Strategic Plan, Active Shooter, Departmental EOP, ESF 1 operations. The primary focus is development of a statewide evacuation strategy working with the 21 counties to support development of evacuation zones and the evacuation process. This includes specific evacuation plans and Contra-flow. We are developing situational assessment processes to support decision making. This includes the process of supporting leaders in making the "Blue Sky" evacuation orders. Out team also supports development of situational assessment dashboards to support both the decision-making process as well as the tracking of real time incidents. Utilizing GIS, Smartsheets, and Power BI we support the Visualization of Data assisting decision makers and operations.
