About James Wells
I began my post-secondary studies at Conestoga College in 2014. Unsure of what direction I wanted to take, I enrolled in General Arts and Science, a one year certificate program. Upon completion of my certificate, I remained at Conestoga College and continued my studies in the Print-Journalism program. Completing my diploma in two years, I went on to practice the trade at the Stratford Beacon Herald, in a temporary contract position. I learned a lot and am grateful for my college education. With a great deal of self reflection after gradation, I realized journalism would not be the route to take. I have great respect and admiration for journalists, and the need to report clear and factual stories to the public; I however am not meant to do so. After working for a little more than two years post-graduation out of college, I returned to post-secondary education to continue my studies at the University of Waterloo. I am happy to say that I have completed my Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies, minoring in Sociology and Political Science.
