About James Wenzel

I am a technically oriented salesman with a focus on generating sales based upon mutual benefit to both parties. I also take pride in building and maintaining strong relationships by demonstrating a positive attitude and a commitment to problem solving. After completing my studies in Electronic Engineering I initially worked in the PCB industry as a technician; before progressing to a management position, in which I was responsible for 45 engineers. Subsequently I transferred to a commercial function and, since then, I have worked in an international sales and marketing role for some well-respected companies; including a period of five years spent as a self-employed agent for one of the top Asian PCB suppliers. Further I was employed by a leading US based PCB supplier (with multiple business units in the USA and Asia) as an account manager in the European market. Along with the considerable commercial experience gained while successfully developing my sales career; my technical background means that I am also qualified to provide customers with in-depth engineering advice and support. At Neways Advanced Applications I have started to resolve supply chain issues. Later I have been moved to Corporate Purchasing being responsible for the commodities PCBs and connectors. Starting as a Product & Business Development Manager at Flatfield Multi Print International BV to support this organization on both technical and commercial fields my role has changed in 2017 into the CTO of the company.
