About James Westfall

For more than 15 years, I have been an Instructor at Lamar Consolidated ISD, where I facilitate instruction on a variety of topics, engage and motivate diverse learners, and support their academic, social, and emotional development. I hold an EC-12 certification issued by the Texas Education Agency and a Level 1 certification issued by the American Orff-Schulwerk Association, which demonstrate my commitment to professional development and best practices in education. As an Instructor, I have successfully implemented academically rigorous learning objectives that are specific, measurable, attainable, results-based, and time-bound. Under my instruction, 100% of my learners show growth and have achieved state recognition and college scholarship awards at the undergraduate and graduate levels. I have also served as the team lead of the specials department since 2024, where I coordinate and collaborate with other educators to ensure the quality and consistency of the curriculum. Additionally, I have leveraged my skills in content creation and customer success to design and deliver web services and digital marketing solutions for several local small businesses and non-profit organizations.
