Under-insurance is a significant issue in Australia, as it is elsewhere – yet it is one of the things that people rely on the most when it comes to being able to move forward in life.Education about the importance of life insurance plays a key role to ensuring that people have the protection that they need when facing life’s challenges. Working with industry partners to get ‘the word out there’ is a crucial part of that.As a Regional Manager for the retail distribution team at AIA Australia, I have the privilege of managing a team that work closely with advisers & dealergroups across Victoria, Western Australia & South Australia to promote the need for life insurance, and the value it brings to Australians’ lives.The passion of the people I work with – dealergroups, advisers, partners, colleagues, and other representatives throughout the industry, means that we can collaboratively ensure the best solutions are made available to those in need.A great part of my role with AIA Australia involves assisting dealergroups and it’s advisers with life risk insurance advice, networking, business planning, recruitment and referral source training.AIA Australia are a specialist insurance provider, we insure over 2.5 million Australians - providing a range of risk insurance solutions from retail, group and partnership covers.The AIA Group’s strength lies in its people, exceptional insurance products and distribution, an extensive regional network, smooth operational efficiency and consistent profitability.
