Background I started out as a rookie Computer Programmer in my working career in the early 90s; then I move on to Plant Operations which I later found my passion in Health, Safety & Environment since and I had never look back ever since. My HSE journey started off from the Ready-Mix Concrete Plants to Constructions sector and for the last 13+ I had been in Health, Safety & Environment in the Oil & Gas Industry which currently I am serving as Emergency Response Executive cum Safety & Health Officer in an International Oil Company (IOC). I enjoy delivering my best in any work environment. You will find me easy going and a person who can adapt fast, able to work with all levels of organization and build up good working relationships with all colleagues. What I can do: • Supports the Management in the HSE Policy, HSE Guidelines, HSE Roles and Responsibilities and HSE Management System compliance. • Ensures in accordance with the Corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company HSE Management Systems. • Monitors the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives. • Develop, Implement and Execute Company Crisis & Emergency Response Plan. • Conducts safety assurances both internal and external. • Facilitated Incident Investigations and provided reliable solutions. • Carries out any in-house safety training. • Performs Risk Assessment. • Preparation of Health and Safety documentation for new tenders. • Provides Safety support and advice, including supervision on preparation of plans and procedures for initial contract start up activities.
