Hi, this is James, a bilingual graduate of the Master of Management in Finance at Desautel Business School at McGill University. I currently work for CIBC as a member of the Imperial Service Financial Advisor, IIROC at Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Academically, I have experienced rigorous training in financial modeling and investment theories. With a great passion for investment and interacting with people, I am determined to pursue a career in wealth management in the long run. Professionally, I am the CIBC Imperial Service Financial Advisor that serves high net worth clients as a portfolio manager in Bankers Hall at the core of Calgary. I manage a portfolio of 260 families with over 133 Millions of funds under managed. During the previous year, I have grew the portfolio with over 10 Millions of investments and land multiple mortgage deals while the interest rates remain high. I have a fondness of passion to help my clients to achieve their financial ambition and looking forward to further assisting my clients with more tailored investment strategies with my expertise in financial planning. Prior to joining CIBC, I previously worked as the Chief Sustainability Officer of Desautel Capital Management, a student-run fund registered company based in Montreal, Quebec. Throughout the co-op internship, I performed due diligence in screening ESG investment and lead the sustainability team to help pursue sustainable investment targets for the SRI fund. In addition, I also serve as the Equity Analyst of the information technology sector. I managed to process the DCF model, and comparable valuation model and pitched the stock of Western Digital (WDC) for our SRI fund. The returns of Western Digital have gone up by 10% since the stock was added to the fund. Recreationally, I am a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. Let's go, Philly! Also a fan of basketball featuring the superstar LeBron James. Always enjoy the time of traveling in my leisure as well. I have visited more than 30 major cities in North America and would like to unlock more states and cities of the map in the future time.
