About James Young

My work is to answer the who, what, when, where, why, and how questions that drive your critical decisions, with scientific and statistical rigor. Finding and solving these questions is what has kept my interest and led me on my path from research and development, to commercial and operations optimization, to where I am now. I find excitement in both handling the details of the technical work and packaging the output to clearly communicate the value and use of the work to stakeholders with different interests and technical experience. My most recent experience has focused heavily on commercial and operations use cases such as forecasting, pricing, deal scoring, account segmentation, market penetration, and return on investment modeling of sales rep interactions. In the past I have focused on scientific applications of machine learning in biology and chemistry and still pursue these interests in my free time.
