About Jameson Rafter

Former Audio Production Coordinator and Audio specialist at Piranha Games in Vancouver BC. I managed the recording, editing, post-processing and implementation of hundreds of thousands of sound files pertaining to voice-over talent. I also served as a casting director and booker, managing the cost-tracking and invoicing of the actors. I was also responsible for quality control, editing and post-processing/ mastering of the final recorded voice files before implementing them into our game engine. At times I also oversaw the delivery and file transfers between multiple onsite and vendor editing teams. In the past I have been responsible for overseeing the progress of the game scripts as well as distributing, scheduling and holding directed recording sessions with the actors. In these cases I have also served as a mocap specialist for facial tracking for the actors and I oversaw the handling of game scripts to our localization teams. Previous to this I had 15 years of Development Support experience as both a QA team leader and a project manager. Apt in functional and progressive development support for mobile, PC, mobile, free-to-play and console games. Past accomplishments: Successfully edited, organized and implemented the process of getting individual voice files into a major independent release. Focused on areas of project and team coordination, compliance, game and level balance, game analytics and online stability. With over 10 game credits to my name I have worked on original IPs for PC, mobile devices and most major platforms.
