About Jami Hembree

With over 15 years of experience in animal health, poultry production, and agricultural operations, I specialize in bridging regulatory compliance with real-world farm and feed mill operations. My career has centered around improving animal welfare, strengthening supply chain efficiency, and leading with purpose in environments where transparency and integrity matter. At Pel-Freez, I implemented advanced animal health protocols and AI procedures, increasing reproductive success by 30% in a high-output breeding facility. Prior to that, I served in several key roles at Simmons Foods—from training broiler growers in USDA-compliant animal welfare to managing procurement for feed mills supporting over 30 million birds weekly.Whether working directly with growers, training staff on bio-security, or coordinating just-in-time deliveries across a complex supply network, I thrive in mission-driven roles that require operational precision, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. I’m passionate about sustainable agriculture, ethical animal care, and working with organizations that challenge the industry to do better.Currently seeking opportunities where I can apply my agricultural expertise, compliance knowledge, and dedication to animal well-being to make a meaningful impact in food production or animal health industries.
