About Jami Kechter

I am the Health System Education Coordinator for Respiratory Care and an Epic Superuser at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. With 10 years of clinical bedside experience I am responsible for training all newly hired staff. Orientation process includes introducing them to the health system, educating on all equipment used, ensure policies and procedures are available and train for appropriate and thorough documentation in Epic. I coordinate and execute a yearly clinical competency review for a total of four facilities. I maintain verification of current credentials, licenses and certificates. I actively work with the Epic team to ensure our processes, workflow and orders all demonstrate our current needs and provide Epic training for all new processes and changes made to reflect accurate charting.
