About Jami Newman

As the owner and photographer at Tiny Details Photography, I provide custom studio newborn photography, fine art children’s photography, studio and outdoor maternity portraits, and professional headshots. Sessions are done in my studio in Sandy, Utah or on location within the greater Salt Lake county area. I am also currently working as a registered nurse in a high acuity pediatrics resource pool. I bring over 28 years as a nurse, 25 of those years at Primary Children's Hospital, including pediatric ICU, NICU, and pediatric oncology. I have leadership experience as an RN Coordinator for over 18 years, including supervisory experience as well as project management. I have taught many advanced pediatric nursing education classes. I have also lead the role to balance the schedule for the nurses and techs for the resource pool for the past 15 years, managing up to 150 caregivers schedules in a 24/7 environment. I am a lead for the CRRT dialysis team as well, helping to manage multiple continuous dialysis machines per shift. I am chemotherapy certified, trained in bone marrow transplant, and have completed the advanced nursing education for the pediatric intensive care unit.
