About Jami Taker

I have always been passionate about helping people manage their money so they feel more secure in the day-to-day, and when they think about their future. It stems from my childhood as I grew up with very little. I took it upon myself to seek out education and good habits about this important part of life. From a young age, I had a knack for numbers. I always had a job, a budget and goals I was working towards. I wanted to be able to comfortably provide for myself and one day, my family. Now, together with this team, I get to apply that passion more broadly. I work diligently to make complex financial matters more easily understood and find it extremely rewarding to help families become financially capable and more confident in their future. I love working, connecting and building strong relationships with people. Whether it is big or small, enhancing a client's experience genuinely brings me joy. After almost a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, I was excited to shift gears and join TD Wealth Private Investment Advice in 2021. Most of my day is spent responding to client requests, managing administrative projects and ensuring the team has everything they need. I pride myself in doing things in a timely and efficient manner and it feels great to be part of a team that shares similar values. Outside of the office, I prioritize living a well-balanced life and am also a certified yoga instructor. I love gardening and growing my own food so I can make delicious and nutritious things in the kitchen for my husband and daughter.
