Amicus was set up to challenge the stereotypical commercial insurance broker, and we are proud to say we are succeeding. For us providing excellent service is a given but we make no bones about it, we are specialists. Amicus provides commercial insurance solutions, as do many other brokers, but the way we do it is different – our business model is different, our approach to business is different and our people are different. We are not driven by processes and numbers, or targets imposed by corporate head offices, we are driven by a passion and a commitment to deliver excellence. Our business model: Every Amicus client is allocated a senior partner or director and it is this person they deal with for all their requirements. They do not get lost in a voicemail system, get passed around departments or find themselves in a call centre with an unknown voice at the end of the phone. This ensures our clients are always speaking with someone who knows their business, whatever the nature of the query, and can make quick decisions with complete accountability. Our people Our team has extensive experience and knowledge of insurance and the sectors we specialise in. Equally importantly, not just our directors, but our entire team cares about the quality of the service our clients receive. We employ people for that very characteristic.
