About Jamie Amadruto

I am a composer and sound designer with 4+ years of experience in design for dance, theatrical production and film. I am also a live sound audio engineer with 6+ years of experience in audio production and live events. My work as a composer and music producer is often paired with my sound design to create captivating scores for dance works, immersive theater, and traditional theater. My work has been heard locally at Theatre Row, The Clement, Triskelion Arts Center, The Players Theater, Laguardia Performing Arts Center, City Center Studios, The Tank, The Wild Project, Alchemical Studios, The Artery, The Phoenix Bar, RWS Studios, and Prime Produce. My work has also been heard internationally at The Pacific Theater and The Cultch Matinees in Vancouver, CA. Sonically, I draw inspiration from dark, cinematic scores and ethereal, synthetic soundscapes, while also keeping on top of trends. I was a full-time A1, A2, Show Operator, and Audio Coordinator for Sleep No More at The McKittrick Hotel and it's venues, The Manderley Bar, The Heath/The Attic, and Gallow Green from 2014 to 2019.As a freelance live sound audio engineer, I currently employed as an A1, A2, and AV Technician with Le Poisson Rouge, The Riverside Theater, The Riverside Church, Speyer Hall, Frost Productions, The Avenel Performing Arts Center, AV Workshop, The Kumble Theater, and The Hank Lane Music Company.
