About Jamie Bruton

With a background in Landscaping in both a commercial and domestic setting, and after getting the relevant tickets for all of the major aspects I was interested in ( Forestry, Plant machinery, Horticulture) I found myself looking for a change in career path and a new challenge. I booked in my Class 2 & Class 1 HGV Licences and passed both first time and went straight on to searching for a new employer who could give me the experience and challenge I needed. I found myself in the welcoming arms of George Davies and his turf business and haven't looked back since with driving being the forefront of my role I have gained plenty of experience driving both Articulated lorries as well as Rigid vehicles with truck mounted fork lifts (Manitou's). After proving myself capable and willing in this role, I was offered the opportunity to work within the office, learning Fleet and Driver compliance as well as customer sales and experience within the GDT team.
