About Jamie Burns

I have worked in the carpet cleaning industry since 2006. I was looking for a career path but needed a job, so I took a job at one of those big national carpet cleaning companies to make some money while I searched for my true calling. Never thought I would find everything I was looking for cleaning carpets, but I had a knack for it and came to love it. I started out as an assistant and wanted to see how far I could go so I put my head down and grinded day in and day out. I worked my way up the ranks and got several IICRC certifications along the way. Including (carpet cleaning, commercial carpet maintenance, upholstery cleaning, water damage restoration, applied structural drying, and applied microbial remediation) along the way I learned hard work, working independently, sales also learned water damage restoration, mold remediation, and air duct cleaning. It's been quite the journey and I have enjoyed every minute of it. Only problem was I found after 16 years I had hit a ceiling of where I could go in the company and developing a family along the way I was living paycheck to paycheck and there was no sign of that changing. Wanting something more for my family and myself and not wanting to leave a career that I love I decided to make a leap of faith and go into business for myself along with a coworker that has the same ambitions and experience EvoXtract was born. We set out to create a carpet cleaning company that was much more personalized and caters to our local community. Wanting to get away from the lack of care and customer service the big box cleaners offer. We also knew we could deliver much better quality by doing our own research and development to have equipment and cleaning agents that suit our personal local customer base. I could not be more excited to begin this journey and see where it takes us. The future is bright, and I hope all of you can join us on this adventure and become a member of our EvoXtract family.
