Background
About Jamie Clements
For nearly 15 years, I have helped non-profits develop fundraising, board governance, and earned revenue structures to further their missions. Believing deeply in quality donor relationship building, I have directly led efforts to raise more than $65M in annual funding for the arts over the past 10 years, was part of the fundraising leadership team for the Woodruff Arts Center’s successful $110M Transformation Campaign and led the final phase of the Denver Center's $17M Grander Opening Capital Campaign in 2022. I've helped numerous organizations ranging in budget size from >$50M to develop and implement multi-year Strategic Plans, and I dedicate multiple hours each month toward pro-bono coaching, mentoring, and thought partnership with fundraisers, board members, executive leaders, and volunteers from a wide variety of non-profits across the country. Having built and managed successful, long-tenured teams for more than a decade, I am dedicated to identifying top talent, stewarding & supporting individual potential, and conveying autonomy to leaders at every level of my organizations. Working in some of America's largest and most complex arts organizations, I know and invest in the value of cross-departmental collaboration to achieve incredible, joint results. I am a proud graduate of the 50th class of Leadership Denver (2024), presented by the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation, and a proud 2023 grad of Leadership Arts, presented by the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts (CBCA). During my 12 years in Atlanta, I served as a steering committee member and presenter for the Audience Building Roundtable, an initiative of the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation involving more than 50 of Atlanta’s arts organizations. I continue to present regionally and nationally on fundraising, organizational & board development, and arts management. Outside of work, I dabble as a classically trained lyric tenor and life-long gardener. I enjoyed eleven seasons as a first tenor with the award-winning Atlanta Master Chorale, where I continue to serve on the board of directors. With artistic experiences and performances in more than two dozen countries on five continents, I am passionate about finding and celebrating the crossroads of excellence in, and access to great art in all its many forms.
