About Jamie Dent

As Executive Leader & Head of Content at FreeHour, I lead an 11-person content team that handles everything that you can see publicly at FreeHour, a Maltese app and social media based brand that dominates the local youth scene. I develop and oversee our integrated content strategy, including editorial governance, sourcing, analysis, and creation of content for our platform of over followers. I have a passion for business, social media, people, and youth culture, which I explored through my academic and professional experiences. I graduated from University of Malta with a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, where I focused on Instagram and its emerging-adult users. I also interned at Penguin Random House in London and worked in Marketing at Malta Marriott Hotel & Spa. I am driven by a passion for learning, strategy, problem-solving, business, and design.
