About Jamie Dowd

As the Director of Science Research & Science Research Teacher, I'm playing my part in helping people with two of the most critical parts of their lives - learning and research experience. I hold a bit of a different approach to my professional philosophies by integrating Renaissance thinking, open communication and mandatory fun in to my work and all of my relationships, especially with my students. Putting the right PEOPLE, in the right PLACES, doing the right THINGS! In hold a BS in BioChemistry/Psychology and a Masters of Arts in Teaching/Biology and am credentialed in science in California and New York. Beyond my decade of classroom teaching Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Physiology, I come with 7 years of experience in Clinical Research & Engineering Recruiting as well as a specialized career focus with Sales and Business Development. I have successfully recruited and placed a wide variety of Executive Level scientific and clinical operations candidates within various Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, CRO & Medical Device companies nationwide. I have an additional 5 years of experience working directly in the medical field at various medical facilities, R&D and Clinical Laboratories. The end result is my strong understanding of the business behind science, healthcare, technology and the people that it consists of.
