About Jamie Edson

Having grown up in a Real Estate family, I started investing in my twenties. I had been part or sole owner of 14 homes and experienced more than 20 personal transactions before I was an agent. My first post education career was as a nurse, therefore I recognize that financial health and security can go a long way towards emotional stability and good health. After more than a decade in nursing, I began my next decade long career as a Financial Adviser, which is what actually led me back to my roots in the Real Estate Market. I realized that every healthy financial plan needed to include Real Estate, which motivated me to acquire my real estate license, and complete the course work for an AA in real estate. The more short term nature of the real estate transaction, verses the long term program of a financial plan also played to my personal strengths. I have discovered I am a very good negotiator! While I prefer being an entrepeneur, experience quickly taught me that in the Real Estate industry, high quality internet tools are key to building a successful practice in today's economy. Working with a larger company provides the tools necessary to be competitive in today's market. My current goal is to complete my brokers license in 2014, and begin rebuilding our real estate portfolio. While being heavily affected by the recession, I strongly believe that real estate is the backbone of our economy, while buying American is next in order of importance, to improving both my personal economy and in helping our country to recover. In 1988, I started a small company, and learned very quickly that network marketing is the easiest way to build a business in a short time, with less risk and capital investment.
