About Jamie Kramer

I continuously strives to advance historically underinvested communities in society and am working towards achieving that through my professional and personal goals. I bring over five years of experience working in inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility. I have presented at numerous international conferences on the ethical considerations of universal accessibility - a topic I feel passionate about. I am excited to engage clients, members, and staff members to better foster a culture of inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility in my current position at Toronto Community Housing. I have worked for numerous municipalities and organizations alongside international, national, and local organizations to act as their strategic advisor on IDEA topics, including analyzing their workplace for gaps and creating strategies to move forward. I'm so grateful to be able to continue this work in my current role as the Senior Consultant, Diversity and Inclusion at TCHC. I was awarded the Millennial Leader of the Year Award at the 2019 Women of Inspiration Awards Gala. In 2018, I was awarded the Customer Service (Rookie of the Year) Award for my work on the Diversity and Inclusion Initiative at the City of Windsor. I was a 2019-2021 member of the Youth Advisory Group for UNESCO and presented at the Annual General Meeting in May 2019 on creating gender equity in municipalities. As a Steering Committee Member, I was responsible for professional development of the members of the YAG and to create relationships between alumni and current members.
