About Jamie Lawrence

Born in "The Valley" in LA, I've always been a bit of a dreamer and a hard worker all at once. I'm upbeat, deep-thinking, starry-eyed yet self-motivated and practical. I find many hobbies and jobs fascinating, challenging and rewarding, but I thrive in team environments and love problem solving, making something come together and helping others in process, if possible. I've been writing and performing songs since 2003 (links below) and have released two self-produced albums. I adore the constant emotional and technical challenge of creating and performing music and I'm constantly working to expand my skills. I'm currently writing an original musical and hope to find a collaborator for the book! I have over 5 years of production and post-production assistant work and 10+ years of experience writing, shooting, editing and producing skits, music videos and short films, in which most I have also performed. Early in 2014 I started my own card/design company,"Little Oaks Art", which inspired and made way for another endeavor called "Jubblecat", a handmade mini-button store on Etsy which I maintain to this day with slow but steady sales and positive feedback.
