I want to make second language learning accessible to children in the USA, making future Americans more well-rounded and tolerant of our cultural differences. As a teacher, I like to discover new ways to teach languages and tend to think outside the box. I am fascinated and inspired daily by the child's ability to acquire languages almost effortlessly when given the opportunity to derive meaning from language. There is a gap in the training and education of world language teachers in teaching early learners of second languages as much of it focuses on teens and adults. I have dedicated most of my career to the research and development of tools, methods, and approaches to teaching children in ways that utilize their innate abilities. I love to help other institutions and schools deliver on the language output of their students.
