About Jamie Murray

SAR Helicopter Pilot with a lifelong passion for both fixed and Rotary wing aviation. I am currently in post as the Nominated Person for Flight Operations with Bristow Ireland. Previous positions with Bristow were Line SAR Pilot at the Prestwick SAR Base, and SAR Commander and Chief Pilot for our Netherlands Operation. I am experienced in both single and multi-pilot, multi-crew operations in the Search and Rescue and Airborne Surveillance and Control roles, and have served as part of Commercial and Military SAR in a variety of maritime, mountainous environments and in support of commercial Oil & Gas. Areas of Operation include the UK, Europe, Antarctica, The Falkland Islands, Middle East and Cyprus. As part of the Business Development team, I have contributed to the successful award of a number of major commercial contracts and project mobilisations. A dedicated and driven individual enjoying the challenges of commercial aviation, I hold both EASA & UK CAA ATPL(H) licences, as well as an EASA and UK CAA PPL(A) with night and aerobatic privileges. I have flown a number of different aircraft, with experience on the A190E, S92 and most recently the AW189.
