Background
About Jamie Parker
My Mathematics degree from the University of Sheffield allowed me to progress through a GTP training programme to become a Teacher of Maths, beginning in 2009I have held a variety of roles that have helped to progress my schools attainment to support our pupils, currently leading the Maths curriculum and team of staff members as an Associate Lead for Primary Maths/I have spent time developing the T and L whole school, embedding learning models and enhancing the teaching of my peers within the Maths dept through collaborative learning strategies. My pastoral experience has allowed me to work closely with the families of the pupils I teach to ensure their journey through school provides them with the right platform to succeed. I love being in the classroom and having fun with my pupils which is a key element to my success as Maths Teacher.
