About Jamie Parry

With 35 years' experience in the insurance industry, I've specialized in insurance risk management, placement and consulting services for large and small business, especially in the healthcare, technology, manufacturing, and financial services sectors. I've held senior management roles in sales, business development, strategic alliances, and marketing. For the first 15 years of my career I worked for Sedgwick, and then Meadowbrook Insurance Group, two of the largest insurance brokers in the United States. Then in I established the Detroit office for Summit Global Partners, Inc.(SGP), a large independent agency headquartered in Dallas, Texas. At SGP, I was involved in all facets of office establishment: administration, insurance carrier negotiations, and most importantly, business development. Known as a practice leader in SGP's Healthcare and Technology divisions (national/local levels) with insurance carriers. I also developed robust affinity programs for physician organizations, the United States Postal Lessors Association, and an exclusive employment practices liability (EPL) program for of a human resources consulting group. In 2005 when SGP was sold to USI, I established Summit Risk Management of Michigan and New Jersey. In 2006, Summit Risk Management joined forces with Mason McBride, Inc. an independent agency, established in 1916. Most recently, I have been asked by various groups and clients to speak on trending topics such as: Cyber Security, Cyber Insurance and the effects of Business, and No-Fault Auto Reform in Michigan.
