About Jamie Roche

I am a passionate educator with proven ability to connect with students individually to best facilitate the learning process and their academic success. My strong initiative and ability to cater to a diverse range of learners has allowed me to thrive in a challenging learning environment. Throughout the course of my career, I have developed strong classroom management skills and taught students how to take personal ownership of their success. In athletics, I have coached several varsity sports as well as having been the Director of Athletics. I have been a student advisor, dormitory head and Dean of Students as well as having done much recruiting and admissions work. I have worked hard to stay up to date with relevant techniques in teaching and coaching young people both on my own and through in-depth course work with the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). Using my professional experience and backed by my B.S. degree, my time as a USport Athlete, 30+yrs of coaching, and an infectious enthusiasm shared with my students and peers, I strive to have a holistic approach to learning when working with students and specifically student-athletes.
