With extensive experience spanning multiple elite sports organizations, I specialize in sports science, analytics, and athlete performance optimization. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Elite Performance and Sports Science at the Saudi Pro League, I am driven by a commitment to enhancing player health, development, and performance through cutting-edge data insights. My work aligns with the league’s mission to elevate football standards globally, bringing diverse expertise in injury prevention, performance benchmarking, and innovative feature development to the team. A highlight of my role is leading the development of QIMA - a pioneering central data system (meaning “value” or “worth” in Arabic) that fuses performance data from Catapult, Sportlight and Opta via complex calculations to deliver actionable insights and context for club technical staff. I built the entire database from scratch using SQL, developed all API code, implemented intricate metrics, and created comprehensive reports, establishing QIMA as one of the most unique projects in world football. At the Premier League, I led the development of football intelligence platforms and spearheaded league-wide injury surveillance initiatives. By delivering actionable insights on critical metrics like game time and player development, I contributed to evidence-based changes across academies. My work emphasized collaboration, presenting impactful findings to stakeholders and advancing best practices for player health and system optimization.
