About Jamie Tandy

I have over 20 years of experience in executive assistant/office management. I am currently the office manager at Apex Technology, a spacecraft manufacturing company. I have been part of the rapid growth of this company from when I started as the 34th employee to now over 170 in a little over a year. Working at such a fast growing company has given me the opportunity to oversee and manage changes at a pace I couldn't conceive of prior to working here. Included in that, two physical office moves and working while under 7 months of construction in stressful and difficult conditions. All while maintaining the quickly changing needs and day-to-day operations of the office and employees. As office manager, I provide support to the entire team at Apex from the recruiting team to business development and our engineers to make sure everyone has what they need within the scope of the office. To touch on a few of the vast roles I play at Apex, managing facilities, office security and safety, developing and implementing office policies and procedures, overall maintaining a productive work environment. I am passionate about working with people, being part of a team and helping to create a healthy and positive work place.
