About Jamie Tolson

I'm an Executive Search and Recruitment Consultant focused on senior Product, Data and GTM hires for B2B SaaS and technology companies. After 15 years placing senior contributors and leaders into PE/VC-backed tech businesses, I've seen similar things happen: a company hits 75–200 people, the founder is still close to product decisions, and suddenly they're dealing with enterprise contracts, real compliance pressure, and a board asking questions about AI and data that nobody internally is set up to answer or own. That gap between where the Product and Data org is and where the business needs it to be, is where I've chosen to focus.Hiring conversations with companies at this stage often misdiagnose what they need. They say "VP Product" when the real problem is data ownership. They post for a Head of Data when what they actually need is someone who can tie AI investment to the roadmap. The role definition matters just as much as the person.I help founders and exec teams get that scoping right, then find the person who fits best. I'm building a practice specifically around the companies reaching this important time - B2B SaaS, mission-critical platform businesses where product, data, and AI leadership can't be an afterthought. If that's the stage you're in and you'd like to think through what the right hire looks like, I'm always happy to chat.SaaS Domains: Business Intelligence + Data Analytics, Geospatial + Location Intelligence, AIOps + ObservabilityTrack Record: 100+ Senior Hires across 6 countries On a personal note, I'm a girl mom of 2, an avid traveler, and optimist.
