About Jamie Tuckey

With over 15 years of experience in the energy sector, I have been a foundational part of MCE, California's first Community Choice Aggregator, since its inception in 2008. As MCE's Chief of Staff, I am at the forefront of steering strategic planning, overseeing leadership for all customer-facing departments, and fostering cross-departmental collaboration. My responsibilities span from employee oversight, board collaboration, and determining agency priorities and strategic planning, to acting as CEO stand-in and managing various tactical projects. I led the expansion of our services to nearly accounts across 37 communities in four counties, encompassing marketing, communications, customer service, and community engagement efforts. Outside my work life, I am a mom, an aspiring homesteader, and a passionate traveler. These roles have deeply influenced my professional approach, teaching me the importance of adaptability, resilience, and a broadened global perspective. My career at MCE has been more than just a job; it's been a journey of growth, learning, and contributing to a cause that’s close to my heart – the just transition to a sustainable and renewable energy future.
