About Jamie Webb

My passion: People. It took a while before I realized what I wanted to be when I grew up (mid-20's), but after seeing employees succeed in their careers and being able to help through moments in their lives, it was then I realized what my calling was. Creating a culture in which employees want to come to work, assisting in what their future with the company will look like, helping to build an inclusive company; those are the things that drive me. Sometimes you have to try different roles to see which one fits you best. Being exposed to different roles in various industries has helped me to grow and understand how to relate with employees of every level. We all face trials and tribulations in life. It's what we do with it that sets us apart. I've had my fair share of ups and downs, and I used that motivation to learn more about what it was that I was so passionate about, people. The employees are what drive our companies, what keep us going. So what can I do to better myself to be the best me for my employees? Continual learning. I am constantly searching for new and innovative ways to assist my company and employees. From going back to school at 30 to obtain my BS in Human Resource Management at WGU, to researching ways to reward and acknowledge employees, to keeping up with compliance standards, I am always willing and ready to learn. Now that I have reached my goal is to get my PHR Certification, my new goal is to grow with a company and assist in future ventures, and celebrate the successes of its employees.
