Twenty-four years of power plant experience in various positions including; currently an Electronic Technician Senior, Boiler operator, Turbine generator operator, and a Boiler operator assistant. Seventeen years in the instrumentation department performing tasks such as installing and maintaining intricate electrical and electronic devices that are vital to plant and all auxiliary equipment operation. Responsible for implementing new procedures for operating and troubleshooting control systems for a more efficient operation. Experience installing and maintaining distributed control, programmable logic control, industrial communication networks, and continuous emissions monitoring systems. Experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining control loops and circuit wiring ranging from 12 to 30 VDC and 120 to 480 VAC. Experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, Citect SCADA, Intellution, Allen Bradley, Toshiba V-Series, Toshiba nV, Cisco VPN, Bentley Nevada, Tri-Sen, Honeywell, Stack Vision, and MS Office operating software. Experience and proficiency in troubleshooting, calibrating, repairing, and replacing devices such as; transmitters, transducers, control valves, positioners, solenoids, timers, sequencers, analyzers, gauges, indicators, controllers, and meters. Proficient in understanding P & ID's, flow charts, trends, and electrical schematics. Extensive knowledge of carpentry and construction, which enhances my ability to be able to create or add to a plan in order to improve an unordinary situation. Excellent problem solving abilities culminating from experience in previous and present jobs, schools, machinery, and tools. Keen ability to work independently without supervision. Extensive knowledge dealing with vendors and support agencies. Proficient verbal and written skills. Highly motivated and dependable individual.
