About Jamie Wright

I am a freelance video editor/colorist, and occasional videographer. I have worked on a number of feature length and short subject films, music videos, found footage projects, and promotional spots. Having experience in both documentary and narrative, I enjoy an array of different styles and modes of storytelling. I am interested in human interest pieces. Films about the story behind the story, the origins of peoples motivations and intriguing historical events. I love learning about history and the stories behind & within various subcultures and locations. Some of my favorite films and series certainly had their own unique styles, but didn’t sacrifice good storytelling for it. I have. a lot fo experience with one-man-band style projects as well as being a part of a team, so I understand all parts of filmmaking, from pre production all the way to post production finishing. I also understand how a film is constantly evolving and getting better with each pass of the edit.
