About Jamil Murray

For the last 9 years I have done some remarkable things such as creating an onboarding program for Frito-Lay, utilizing TikTok to advance adult learning, and rekindled a relationship with my alma mater and employer to better the student experience. In the Summer of 2023, I changed functions from HR to Marketing. More specifically, I joined the in-house creative agency, D3 team, at Frito-Lay. I am the lead for Frito-Lay’s social media handle, FLVR. FLVR is where entertainment meets recipes and pushes the agenda that Frito-Lay’s products are more than just snacks. This year provided an opportunity to partner with Doritos After Dark and Sweet Chick to provide influencers to highlight their food truck. This year also provided an opportunity to travel to some of our growers sites in Canada and Northern United States to film content showing the process of how our products are made. Lastly, this year also allowed me to dream an idea and see it come to fruition. This idea was Frito-Lay recipe “taste tests”. Since our normal content was recipe videos “taste tests” came from the thought, “what happens after the recipe is created”. I was able to go to 2 restaurants and taste test PepsiCo collaboration products and create content of my experience. For numbers, FLVR’s TikTok handle gained over 400k+ followers in 6 months and we launched FLVR on Instagram (5k+ followers) and YouTube (50k+ subscribers).
