About Jamil Wells

For the last 17 years I have been honing my skills as an education professional;10 years as classroom teacher and 7 years as an administrator on elementary, middle school and high school levels. As an administrator I have collaborated on various levels with multiple shareholders regarding the development and implementation of a shared vision as it pertains to instruction and building school culture. As a leader I have had the opportunity to develop and support teachers and support staff through by demonstrating management, supervision, coaching, facilitating skills as well as had the opportunity to practice develop, implement and enforcing school policies, leading assessments, and managing extracurricular programs/activities. My passion for cultivating rewarding, dynamic, and high-performing educational environments has successfully resulted in high levels of faculty retention and excellent student experiences and educational outcomes. As an educator with 17 years of successful experience I am a visionary who takes pride in my communication skills, flexibility, resourcefulness and who believes in the transformative nature of teaching and learning.
