About Jamila Morris

I am a co-founder of Green Rush by Design, a project that aims to increase the presence of minorities, women, and the underserved within the marijuana industry. I have a passion for cannabis and social justice, and I want to create more opportunities for people who have been historically marginalized by the laws against marijuana. As a co-founder of Green Rush by Design, I work with a diverse and talented team to develop and distribute an ebook that offers valuable information to guide New York entrepreneurs, students, and job seekers on their path toward the adult-use marijuana industry in New York. We cover various aspects of the industry, such as the different licenses, educational options, and job opportunities, and we provide insight into the range of plant-touching and non-plant-touching jobs available. We also collaborate with other cannabis advocates, organizations, and businesses to raise awareness and support for our project and our mission. I bring my successful business owner experience, my cannabis expertise, and my marketing skills to the table, and I am motivated by the vision of creating a more inclusive and equitable cannabis industry.
