Hi, I’m Jamila Small — a passionate advocate for change and a dynamic voice for marginalized communities. I am currently a student at Mercy University, majoring in Paralegal Studies, part of the Global Honors Program. My work is deeply rooted in youth advocacy, community empowerment, and challenging systems of injustice. I’ve built a strong foundation through my roles with the Osborne Association, Youth Represent, and See Us Support Us, where I’ve led and contributed to initiatives that center youth with incarcerated parents and promote policy change. As a media personality and experienced public speaker, I use storytelling and lived experience to elevate conversations around stigma, equity, and transformation. I am committed to amplifying voices that are often unheard and creating spaces where healing and empowerment can thrive. With aspirations of becoming an attorney, I am driven by a long-term goal to serve communities nationally and globally through legal advocacy and systemic change.
