About Jamisa Williams

Highly skilled and experienced educational administration with a background in public policy. With more than 15 years in the public education industry, I take pride in serving in various roles as an educator from high school English teacher to central office coach, and now an early college principal. My years in education have provided breadth of experiences that showcase skills in educational leadership, organizational management, public policy analysis and policy writing, and budget management. The leadership actions that support my skill set are: recruit and retain high quality educators, maintain and implement high academic standards, develop and deliver prescriptive professional development, program assessment and evaluation, assessment and creation of safety protocols for students and staff, build supportive two-way relationships with community stakeholders, and create educational programming that ensures a rigorous course of study for all students. I also have a diverse educational background with the following degrees: Doctorate of Education ( UNC- Greensboro); Specialist of Education (UNC-Greensboro); Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership (GCU); Bachelor's of Arts in Public Policy Analysis.
