About Jamison Hayward

As a Data Analyst at the City of Santa Monica, I optimizes data systems and supports open data and performance. I provide guidance to division staff to increase capacity for data collection methods, database use and maintenance, statistical analysis, and service delivery through trainings, tools and partnerships. I also organize affordable housing program data into a usable infrastructure for analysis to improve service optimization, program design and resource allocation. I have a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Southern California, with a specialization in Research & Analytic Methods. I have extensive experience in producing informative graphics and reports, disseminating economic development research, evaluating programs, and formulating policy recommendations. I have also executed a comprehensive parking analysis using predictive modeling and intercept surveys to help the Downtown generate additional revenue by switching to demand-responsive parking model. I am passionate about driving data-informed research and analysis to solve complex challenges.
